Famed as one of the courses where the career of Sergio Garcia was shaped, the Mediterráneo Golf Course, designed by Ramón Espinosa, is an 18 hole course set amidst olive, orange and carob trees. It also has a well maintained Putting Green and a large practice area. The course has hosted several national and international tournaments, at both amateur and professional levels. Qualifying Tournaments for the PGA Tour have also been played here. Set around 4 lakes, with its fairly tight layout, strategically place water hazards and fast contoured greens make this course a challenging round of golf, though less experienced players should not be put off.
