The Dunes
Agadir
The Agadir Royal Golf Club originated in 1951 from just one hole dug in a field by a Scottish golf enthusiast called Mr. Wilson. It wasn’t until a few years later that Colonel Kamili, another golfing enthusiast turned the triangular enclosure into the 9-hole par-36 golf course that has become the Agadir Royal Golf Club of today.
Although not very long and tight in places with small greens that are well protected with bunkers and groups of palm trees that make it quite difficult to play, this course is still pleasant and gives the feel of stepping back into the Colonial African past of 50 years ago making for a charming and enjoyable days golfing.
