Golf Course in Costa del Sol
El Chaparral is an 18-hole course along the rolling coastline of Mijas Costa, around 20 to 25 minutes from Málaga. Almost every hole looks out over the sea.
The course
The course was designed by Spanish architect Pepe Gancedo, who also designed Torrequebrada and Golf del Sur. With six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s, it’s an unusual and very varied layout.
The terrain, native plants and pine woods mean no two holes are alike. It’s a beautiful course that suits beginners and better players alike.
