La Cañada Golf Club is in Guadiaro, next to Sotogrande, set between the sea and the mountains in beautiful countryside. It was the first public golf course in Andalucía.
The course
The 18 holes were designed by two well-known names: Dave Thomas designed holes 1 to 9 and Robert Trent Jones designed holes 10 to 18.
Expect challenging fairways, fast greens, large groves of native trees and wonderful views of the Mediterranean. It’s a relaxed, enjoyable round and good value in an area known for some of Spain’s most exclusive courses.
