Golf Course in Costa Brava
El Montanya Golf Club is a challenging course and quite technical in places that demands fairly good playing skills. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 1989 this 18-hole par-72 course has been carved out of the mature woodland that covers the undulating landscape and offers a decent mix of holes. The front nine are more technically demanding before reaching the back nine that offer you the chance to relax a little bit and enjoy the incredible views from the elevated tees. The golfing experience at Montanya is as much testament to the surroundings as it is to the quality of Thomas’ design and is a true example of the peaceful cohabitation of golf and nature on the Costa Brava.
