Pestana Village & Miramar Garden Resorts

The 4* Pestana Village Garden and 4* Miramar Garden Resorts share the same grounds, close to the centre of Funchal and the Lido area.   On the doorstep is Monumental street which takes you along the coast, through gardens and passing small cafes, a tea room, where you can sit and watch the world go by over a coffee and cake, and plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops.

The Pestana Village Garden is designed in typical Madeiran style; traditional materials have been used such as wrought iron and Portuguese tiles.  The Miramar Garden was built on grounds of the Hotel Miramar which dated back to 1924; a large stone staircase leads up to the original building.  The newer building has a colonial design to them. Both resorts have many facilities including bars, restaurants, and swimming pools.

Both resorts offer studio rooms and junior suites; the Pestana Miramar also offers executive suites which are situated in the 1924 building.  All rooms are decorated with light and elegant touches.
