The Barcelona Golf Club, previously known as Masia Bach Golf Club is set on the border of Catalonia’s premier wine region of Penedes. This 18-hole par-72course designed by Jose Maria Olazabal commands some spectacular views of the Montserrat Mountain and is a very demanding and tight course that will test the characters of even the best golfers. There is however a shorter 9-hole course that is less demanding and offers a more pleasant playing experience. This well maintained and highly rated course has been host to numerous professional tournaments including the 2007 Catalonia Ladies Masters. A buggy is advisable on this course as it is quite hilly and can be tiring for some.
