Girona Golf Club was founded in 1992 and designed by FG Hawtree, who described it as one of his finest creations. The course takes full advantage of the local topography and the natural shape of the terrain. In order to protect the natural environment, it is watered with depurated water. It is the only course in Spain sown with ‘Pencross Grass’ and relies on the topography and natural lie of the land to give it pleasing and elegant features. Completely isolated from the busy city of Gerona, this immaculately maintained course has a clubhouse built of natural stone, which makes it blend in perfectly with its surroundings. This course offers a challenge to golfers of all levels.
