La Marquesa
Golf Course in Costa Blanca
Designed by Justo Quesada and opened in 1989, La Marquesa Golf Course is a matured and comfortable course located in a flat valley between the mountains and sheltered by a microclimate.
A Mediterranean golf experience designed for all players. Wide fairways, gentle terrain ideal for walking, and more than 3,000 palm trees create a unique setting. The course features scenic lakes and two unforgettable highlights: a faithful replica of the iconic 17th at TPC Sawgrass and the first Par 6 ever built in Spain. The course has numerous bunkers and 4 water hazards, three of which can play a decisive role in each round. Overall the course is not excessively demanding although here are some tough holes to contend with.
La Marquesa has an uncomplicated layout without excess difficulties being a flat broad and spacious course, alternating long and short holes. Fairways are non sloping and fairly easy but the greens probably present the most challenge with prominent slopes and undulations although they are quite large and clearly visible.
