Vistabella Golf
Golf Course in Costa Blanca
Vistabella Golf is near San Miguel de Salinas on the southern Costa Blanca. It was built on an old citrus grove, and it’s an interesting course for amateurs and better players alike.
The course
The course was designed by Manuel Piñero, the former European Tour player and Ryder Cup player for Europe. He has used the natural landscape well, including more than 34 hectares of native trees and Mediterranean scrub.
When it opened in 2009, Vistabella had an unusual 11-hole layout that played as an 18-hole round. It was extended to a full 18 holes in 2018 and is now a par 72 of just over 6,000 metres, with broad, rolling fairways, well-placed bunkers, testing greens and a large lake.
