Founded in 1945 the Llavaneras Golf Club located in a privileged area just 34 kilometres from the centre of Barcelona is the fourth oldest private golf club in Catalonia. Originally designed as a 9-hole course by the British golf architect F.W. Hawtree the extension of the course was carried out by Spanish designers Ramon Espinosa, Alfonso Magi and Vidaor. This 18-hole par-70 course is a challenging course of 5,028 metres long set out on 34 acres of soft ground with narrow but well defined medium sized greens that are protected by water and bunkers. Llavaneras Golf Course is suitable for all types of players and its privileged all year round climate combined with the spectacular sea views that are constantly present will ensure an unforgettable experience for anyone wanting to play golf on the Costa Brava.
