Son Muntaner

The Son Muntaner golf club nestles between the hills of Son Vida and the island capital Palma. This young course fulfils the highest sporting standards and is considered in golfing circles to be surely the most beautiful course the island has to offer. The golf course is now also open to the public and encourages every golfer to enjoy a round on a course surrounded by a spectacular Mediterranean natural setting. Designed by Kurt Rossknecht the 18 hole golf championship course of Son Muntaner opened in 2000 and is characterised by its beautiful landscape, well manicured fairways and large greens. The 13th sees one of the course’s highlights; a one thousand year old olive tree grows here. Although a relatively new course, Son Muntaner has quickly become an established, must play track on the Island.
