Villa Madrid

The Club de Campo Villa de Madrid is a fully public 36-hole golf facility located in the heart of Madrid. Founded in 1929 not only is this one of the oldest golf complexes in Spain it is also one of the most impressive featuring two 18-hole golf courses and excellent practise facilities. The main course and probably the better of the two golf courses is The Black Course a regular European Tour venue thanks to its dramatic terrain and top-class design work from Spain’s most decorated golf architect Javier Arana. The Yellow Course is a mixture of nine Arana holes and nine holes designed by Severiano Ballesteros Built on either side of a road, the course is noted for its tumbling ground contours, interesting greens and good layout making it fun to play and a definite one for the “Must Play” list of golf courses in Madrid.
