Golf Course in Costa Blanca
Alenda Golf Club is in Monforte del Cid, inland from Alicante, on gently rolling hills with views towards the sea. It’s a good-value course and a popular choice on a Costa Blanca golf break.
The course
Alenda is an 18-hole, par 72 course of 6,257 metres, designed by Roland Favrat. It opened in 1999.
The two halves play quite differently. The front nine is fun and fairly forgiving, with wide fairways lined with pine, carob and palm trees. The back nine needs more concentration, and accuracy matters more than distance. The 16th and 18th holes often decide the outcome of your round.
