Melia Villaitana

The 4* Meliá Villaitana is built like a Mediterranean village on the hills above Benidorm, with views over the bay. With two Nicklaus Design courses, a large spa and plenty of pools, it’s one of the most complete golf resorts on the Costa Blanca.

The golf

Villaitana has two 18-hole courses designed by Nicklaus Design. The Levante is the full-length championship course, a par 72, while the Poniente is a shorter par 62 made up mainly of par 3s and par 4s, ideal for a more relaxed round or for sharpening your short game. For variety, Bonalba, La Finca and Alicante Golf are all within reach.

The hotel

The resort has 5,000m² of outdoor pools, an artificial beach, tennis and padel courts, and a choice of restaurants and bars. The spa has 13 treatment rooms, a hydrothermal area, a gym and a relaxation room, perfect after a round.

Getting there

Alicante airport is around 40 minutes away, and Benidorm’s beaches and restaurants are just a short drive down the hill.
