Real Golf de Bendinat is in Calvià, just west of Palma, with fine sea views and the historic Bendinat castle as a backdrop.
The course
It’s a fairly short course and open in places, but it isn’t easy. Most holes are dog-legs, which can be tricky for occasional golfers, and much of the course is built around a steep valley, so a buggy is a good idea if you’re less mobile.
It has hosted top tournaments and outdoor concerts, and it’s great fun to play.

Where to stay
The HSM María Luisa in Portals Nous is only around 2km from the course. Palma airport is around 20 minutes away.
