Saurines de la Torre is a Jack Nicklaus design par 72 measuring 5,938 metres from the yellow tees that opened in October 2010.
Although Saurines de la Torre is promoted as a desert style golf course, unlike the majority of Jack Nicklaus designs there is a noticeable lack of bunkers and hazards have been created by the heavily planted dunes between the fairways.
The two lakes, one of which is some 6 acres in size along with the rolling fairways give the course a links feel with elevated and very undulating greens. Holes 9 and 18 go around the lake which guarantees an exciting finish. Saurines de la Torre is a great addition to the golf courses in the Murcia region and well worth a visit.
